DIRECTIONS
Car park at Wytham village OX2 8QN click satnav or what three words
Driving to Wytham village either via Wolvercote OR left turn off A34 northbound just after Botley
Follow signs for disabled parking or drop off
Bicycle parking OX2 8QQ (satnav or what three words) at race start area.
Cycle from Swinford, a tough ride over top of Wytham Woods.
Either drive via Wolvercote or A34 Northbound
Darien and Johnny will be there to help you park!
IMPORTANT INFO
The trails are uneven in part and may be wet, wear trail shoes where you have them
You will be sent your race number and timing chip in advance. If you register in last 2 weeks collect on arrival. If you don’t have a race number, we will assign you a new number to collect on the day.
No registrations on the day.
No changes of runner name on the day (changes must be requested in advance by the Thursday before the race)
Bag drop and toilets at the start (there are no changing facilities)
Water will be provided at 5.3km, 7.6km, start and finish. Bring your own water if you need it during the race.
Refreshments, including tea, coffee and homemade cakes.
Arrive in plenty of time to line up for the start…
No “in ear” headphones
Please remember, No “in ear” headphones, we do allow bone conducting headphones as they are “open ear” and allow runners to hear instructions and other runners.
Spectators
We would love for spectators to come watch, have refreshments and explore the woods. To watch the 10K its a 35 minute walk to the 2.7K point, set off at about 9:50am from the start, its a lovely walk over the hill on the paved road, see “purple” path on the map on Races page. You can then walk back seeing your runner at 3 points in the race.

DOGS
Unfortunately dogs aren’t permitted due to the scientific research in the woods
HEALTH AND SAFETY
First aid is available and medics will be present during the race. Participants are requested to wear suitable clothing, drink sufficiently especially if it is hot.
PHOTOGRAPHY
If you do not wish your or your children’s images to appear as a significant part of any published photo, put a large thick red cross across your and your child’s race number. Red markers will be provided at info desk.
