All participants in the 10K run must be 16 years or over on day of the race and be amateurs as defined by UKA rules. Similarly all participants in the 5K must be 12 years or over. Anyone running in the 1 mile fun run must be 4 years or over on the day of the race and accompanied by an adult if 4 to 6 years old.
The registered runner, including children, is medically fit to run and enters at his/her own risk.
Eynsham community primary school PTA, through the provision of a place in Run Wytham Woods, bears no responsibility for any injuries that may be sustained during the race or in training for the race; nor does it make any judgment on the runner's fitness or ability to run the race. If the runner has a medical condition, they should consult a doctor to ensure that they are fit to compete in the race before accepting this place with Run Wytham Woods.
The organisers reserve the right to delay or cancel the event in case of adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond their control. This is determined solely by the race organisers.
Photographs and videos will be taken for publicity purposes and images may be used by the race organisers. If you do not wish your image to appear as a significant part of any photograph, you should put a large thick red cross across your race number.
You can request a runner name change up until the Thursday before the race, no changes after this date.
No “in ear” headphones, we do allow bone conducting headphones as they are “open ear” and allow runners to hear instructions and other runners. Sorry dogs are not permitted due to Wytham Woods rules. No buggies on 5k or 10k, buggies in fun run require a discussion and approval.
